Application of ISO 17100 provides the means by which a translation service provider (TSP) can demonstrate conformity of specified translation services to ISO 17100 and the capability of its processes and resources to deliver a translation service that will meet the client's and other applicable specifications.  Applicable specifications can include those of the client, of the TSP itself, and of any relevant industry codes, best-practice guides, or legislation.

ISO 22716 - Cosmetics - Good Manufacturing Process (GMP)

ISO 22716 gives guidelines for the production, control, storage and shipment of cosmetic products.  These guidelines cover the quality aspects of the product, but as a whole do not cover safety aspects for the personnel engaged in the plant, nor do they cover aspects of protection of the environment.  The guidelines in ISO 22716 are not applicable to research and development activities and distribution of finished products.

CXX 1-1969 - HACCP System Codex Alimentarius (General Principles of Food Hygiene)

The Codex Alimentarius is a collection of internationally adopted food standards and related texts presented in a uniform manner. These food standards and related texts aim at protecting consumers’ health and ensuring fair practices in the food trade.

 

The Codex Alimentarius includes standards for all the principal foods, whether processed, semi-processed or raw, for distribution to the consumer. Materials for further processing into foods should be included to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of the Codex Alimentarius as defined. The Codex Alimentarius includes provisions in respect of food hygiene, food additives, residues of pesticides and veterinary drugs, contaminants, labelling and presentation, methods of analysis and sampling, and import and export inspection and certification.
